Overview

Crittah's LCMS Driver module consists of details relating specifically to the driver of the vehicle in your fleet and licence details. Whilst this module is fundamentally for associating the elected driver to the shift, it is also the basis for Driver licence maintanenance and management.  This documentation will cover how to use the Licence module as well as the various actions and options available from within the moduleDrivers are your staff who are working in the field. They are the people that you assign jobs to so they can complete tasks. Drivers log onto the Crittah mobile app and view the shifts and jobs that have been assigned to them allowing you to see where they are, what jobs they have completed and also assign them new jobs.

How do I create  driver?

Drivers are the same as a normal user in the system with only one difference. They have a "Driver" role assigned to them.

To create a driver you just need to assign the driver role to a user. This can be done by navigating to Admin->Administration->Users. Then, either select an existing user from the search results or create a new user.

Now, grant the "Driver" role to the user by dragging the "Driver" role from the left to the right.

Once you have assigned the role to the user they will be created as a driver in the system. Now you can view the driver under Manage→Drivers to add additional driver information to them.

Driver Fields

The Driver module contains a number of stock fields which come out-of-the-box with Crittah. The below definitions are suggested meanings for the fields and their use, however, the configurable field such as Site can be leveraged differently to best meet your organisation's needs. Users with administrator access have the ability to configure those fields.

There are no mandatory fields on this form, however it is encouraged that the majority of these fields be filled in for consistance and transparency.
