Notes are used to record general information against a record. A note for a contact could be used as a reminder about a contact that can be used when calling them. A not on a job could help a driver get to the correct loading dock or customer site that is hard to find even when using the GPS features of the mobile application.
Notes can be created against:-
- Customers
- Contacts
- Job
- Job Templates
- Drivers
Notes linked to job templates will be copied to the job when the job is created form a job template (i.e. when you drag the shift template onto the calendar which contains all of the job templates.). Below is an example to how notes in a job template are copied into the job when created. Additionally you can then add extra notes to the job after it is created. These notes will not effect the job template.
If you created the same note against a customer and a Job template, updating one note will not change the other note.
