Crittah provides many ways to search for information in the system. Searching can be performed in three ways:-

• Global Search - Search across all items in using the search bar at the top of the screen or by using s special URL.
• Simple Search - All items (e.g. Contact. Customer, Vehicle etc.) have a simple search page where you can just type a string and Crittah will find the matching results.
• Detailed Search - All items (e.g. Contact. Customer, Vehicle etc.) have a detailed search page where you can search on specific fields for each item to refine your search results.

Global Search

Global search allows you to search for all items from a single place. This simplifies searching so that you can find that customer or contact by just typing in a phone number or name.

Global search box

The global search bar is located in the top right of the page all of the time. This allows you to quickly search for information in Crittah from anywhere in Crittah. Just start typing your search information in the search box and Crittah will start dynamically searching as you type. Once the information you are after has been listed, just click on the item and Crittah will open the window to that item.

Global search URL

If you would like to automate some of you internal processes or systems you can use a simple URL to search for information in Crittah. The URL to use is below

https://[CompanyID].crittah.com/Search/[Search String]

For example, you can integrate you internal phone system with Crittah by opening a page to the contact or customer based on an inbound caller ID (Phone Number). Some phone systems will allow you to open a URL on your PC when your phone rings. You could configure you phone system to insert the inbound caller ID into the URL and open Crittah to the contact or customer that is calling you.

Simple Search

Each item in Crittah allows you to perform simple search by providing a simple search text and then Crittah will search for all matching items matching that text. To access simple search just navigate to Manage -> [Item] (e.g. Manage -> Customer). You will be presented with a simple window to search on.

Detailed Search

Each item in Crittah allows you to perform detailed search. A detailed search allows you to search on specific information (e.g. Company Name = "Pizza Hut")  To access detailed search just navigate to Manage -> [Item] (e.g. Manage -> Customer) and then select the "Detailed" tab. You will be presented with a detailed window to search on.
