Reminders

Reminders is a helpful feature to remind you some time in the future to take action on a job. You can set a reminder with a note and a time in the future and Crittah will notify you at the reminder time you set. You can can configure to send the reminder to you either by email, SMS or both.


To send reminders by SMS you will need to turn on SMS notifications. To do this please get in touch with Crittah and we can set this up for you.

SMS messages are charged as an additional cost on top of your standard service charges since Crittah pays an international service provider for each SMS sent from Crittah to a contacts phone. To turn on SMS messaging directly out of Crittah please contact us to turn this service on.

A Single SMS message is charged at $0.08 to send an SMS anywhere in Australia. 


How can I create a reminder?

To create a reminder you can just open any job in Crittah and scroll down to the tabs at the bottom of the page. Select the reminders tab and click the "Add Reminder" button. Select the time you would like to be notified with the reminder and enter the reminder text and click save.

Reminders will be sent to your email address and MObile number configured in the Crittah User admin section. 


When a notification is sent you will be able to see this in the notifications section next to the notification type:

  • If the box is empty it means the notification has not been sent.
  • If there is a tick in the box it means the notification was sent. You can click on this ticked box to view the email or SMS information
  • If the box has a cross in it it means the notification fail to be sent. You click on the box to view the error.


How come I didn't get the reminder?

There can be many reasons why you did not receive reminders. The most common causes are:

  • You email address or mobile number configured in Crittah user administration is incorrect or not set. Speak to your administrator to check this and update if needed.
  • The date you set the reminder has not arrived yet.
