Create a Shift Template

Create a Shift Template

There are 2 ways to create a Shift Template

  1. By creating a Shift Template from scratch

  2. By selecting a current Shift and converting it into a Shift Template

To create a Shift Template, first navigate to Manage>Shift Templates

You will notice that you can search existing templates as well as create New Templates

For this example, we will create a Shift Template for Driver “John Smith” to use every Tuesday

You will now have a Shift Template for John Smith to use on Tuesdays.  At this stage, you can add jobs to this Shift (if they are re-occuring jobs to be completed each Tuesday)

Note : the Add Job function looks for Job Templates which are setup via Manage>Job Template. Creating a Job Template is almost identical to Creating a Job, by now hopefully you are becoming accustomed to the core functions of Crittah, so for this guide, we will refrain from the Job Template setup process
